The CBR500R delivers performance to all sport riders, including riders moving up from the sporting, entry-level Honda CBR250R & CBR300R models, as well as more experienced riders who will appreciate the CBR500R’s light and nimble handling. With a modern, torquey 471cc parallel-twin DOHC engine that’s wrapped in a great-handling chassis featuring a full fairing spawned from Honda’s CBR600RR and CBR1000RR. This aerodynamic bodywork also provides advantages in air management for added rider comfort, along with a low drag coefficient and effective engine cooling. With the CBR500R seat height coming in at only 31 inches, it opens up the possibility for many riders that normally can’t touch the ground with both feet on current sport bikes.
